Iowa-Nebraska to be played Friday after Thanksgiving
Per Morehouse, the Iowa-Nebraska game the next two years will be played the day after Thanksgiving, much like the annual Nebraska-Colorado tilt had been.

I love it, I love it, I love it
This does two things for me:
1) It sets the Iowa-Nebraska game as a rivalry. Something that the fans have felt, but the lack of meetings hasn’t demonstrated.
2) It moves this game out of the shadow of OSU-UM.
Great decision by all involved.

Has there ever been a Friday game at Kinnick before?
As long as I can remember, every Iowa game has been played Saturday morning/early afternoon, with a couple recent exceptions for night games.
