The good news is that the Iowa women's hoopsters are in the NCAA Tourney as a 6-seed. The bad news is they're playing Gonzaga -- on the 11-seed Zags' home court. Such is the absurdity of the women's NCAA tourney, where attendance issues force them to play on the home courts of the participating teams. If they win, they'll likely draw UCLA in the second round. Iowa State (7-seed versus Marist) and UNI (13-seed versus Michigan State) also made the tourney, so while the state of Iowa was shut out of the men's tournament, it's well-represented by the ladies. Iowa and Gonzaga tip off at 3pm CST on Sunday.
