This is somewhat similar to the other post, but I want to know where people have vacationed, spent time with friends or family, so forth and so on.
Places I especially like: Shenandoah Valley. I am a country person, and the mix of mountains and farmland down there is glorious.
I wish I had a picture of deer and cattle I saw grazing together in a field next to a patch of trees.
Philadelphia, for all the cracks I make about it, is not a terrible city. Neither is Picksburgh.
Places I didn't and don't like:
Arizona and Nevada. I thought both those places were totally worthless excepting any mineral resources that might be there.
Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Again, worthless. Baltimore and the "loot line" subway are worse than Washington.
I absolutely hate suburban Dallas. My uncle lives in a house in a boring subdivision down there. First time I was there, it wasn't totally built in and coyotes were howling at night nearby. That was cool. Within a week or two they built some more houses (bad), some more cul-de-sacs (bad), and more Chick Filas (good). Additionally, I cannot respect a breed of people who freak out after a minor dusting of snow.
Place I haven't been to and hopefully never will:
Florida. I hate listening to the old people in PA who always say they're going to move down to that giant, humid real estate scam.
