So, I was perusing a message board thread over at TheMat.  If you haven't checked out their site, you really should, it's amazing.  Anyways, Jay Borschel (or at least someone claiming to be) posted in response to a thread about a good VaTech article that looks at the reversal of sorts since Tom Brands left for Iowa.  It's all very enlightening and in case you can't find Jay's entry I'll post it after the break.  (I assume that's legal to do and all as it's an un-copyrighted message board entry)

Since I experienced this whole deal first hand I thought I could shed some light...

It seems to me that people interested in this topic are either:

A) Brands/Iowa haters bent on using this VT deal as an excuse to denigrate the man 
or
B) Iowa supporters looking to defend and who are still bitter.

The thing both groups have in common is that neither of you know anything, so let me tell my story.


I will start off by saying that I thoroughly enjoy every second of time spent at VT and have many wonderful memories of the place that I cherish. 

Now, I completely understand that I am accountable for my actions which were choosing to transfer and suffer all penalties. I never have had any problem with that. I DO have a problem with the way VT conducted itself during the whole process.
