About Dantonio And His Bible Verses
Not sure if you caught this on Twitter yesterday:
I took a few guesses at what I thought some of those verses said and posted this here for some more guesses from y'all.
Here's what I got:
Dantonio 13:24 Thou shall not covet thy neighbors recruits
Dantonio 3:1 Thou shall spring d-back from jail the night before a big game
Dantonio 9:17 If tired or weary or beaten, God will take a knee and call for a trainer with you
Dantonio 4:31 And when David met Goliath he attacked the giant when he was unprotected and with a helmet to helmet hit.

This one is the winner
I spent half my life's earnings on wine, women & song. The other half I wasted.

Literally.
Less memorable than Sam Okey's Hawkeye career.

That's funny, but I will admit that it stings
Especially when you read this:
“There was certainly some contact,” Nortman said, smiling. “It doesn’t hurt to put a little bit extra on it, however. I wasn’t thinking before the play, ’I’m going to take a flop here,’ but when you’re in the air and a little vulnerable, a little bit extra didn’t hurt.”
New idea: eliminate punting from football. Quarterbacks will have to throw the ball away on 4th down. Basically, the same rules will apply to returns, spotting, and the like, but quarterbacks can be sacked. Also, guys like Terrelle Pryor and Taylor Martinez would be great passer-punters.

I saw that quote
Then watched the play again, and still think it had to be called. He didn’t hit him hard or anything, but still ran into the punter.
It's not that I'm lazy, Bob, it's that I just don't care
Am I the only one who
thought “bible verse” was some new slang term for hand job?
