Nebraska’s defense is still a joke. What the crap are they doing? Aside from the bad tackling, bad angles, and the usual junk they drug in from their joke of a previous conference, what are their coaches doing? Michigan State easily defeated Ohio State by blitzing from the outside, keeping Miller in the pocket, and hammering him. And Ohio State still has no ability to challenge them downfield. I’m starting to realize just how right Bellanca is about how surprisingly inept Nebraska’s coaching staff is. This is so stupid and I’m kind of insulted this team has the gall to call themselves a Big Ten team.

from SI in the year Denver won about how the two conferences might consider spliting again. It was the same year Pete Rosele (the big force behind the merger) died. I was so disgusted by the article. The AFC was too apparently. Denver won the next two and the AFC started to string a whole bunch together.
Yeah but Wisconsin won't always be OK/UT.
In fact next year they might come down to earth once Russell leaves. But yeah….this year it might not be pretty. Or it could be like the last two Big 12 championships where the South comes in way too over confident and the upstart (Nebraska in their case) makes it close.

kind of why they didn't actually blow the whistle...
they knew the game was pretty much riding on that play. Luckily the jNW receivers still aren’t great….but they may very well look like super stars next week.

that last bauserman pick was a pretty good throw by his standards. it was only about 5 yards underthrown, rather than his usual 20 yards over the receivers head.
