BLACK HEART GOLD PODCAST 68: AFTER THE GOLD RUSH
If you think Minnesota fans have put the Brewster era in the rearview mirror, you have another thing coming. This week's podcast, with Matt (Twitter @MVofDT) from Fringe Bowl Team, only reiterates this point. Everything at Minnesota now is a result of the disastrous decisions of the Chili Man, and you have no idea how great this makes us feel.
Hate Week, folks. Free Floyd.

I didn't think you'd be able to top last year's podcast guest for this game, but you did.
Good work, kids.
Everyone fails. The successful learn from their failures. I just wish we'd quit giving ourselves so many learning opportunities.

Ok, I'm not even halfway through this thing yet. Holy shit this is depressing.
Funny, sorta, in a “haha hey lookit the man with the clubfoot got set on fire and stepped in poop!” sort of way, but depressing. If ever the phrase “there but for the grace of god go we” were appropriate… holy shit. You know what Kirk, go ahead and continue to soulrape the concept of clock management, because hooooooooly shit are we fortunate as all hell to have to you here. Wow.

This is exactly the sort of thing I think
when I watch douchebag extraordinaires like Saban, Miles, Dantonio, Tressel, Kiffin, Brian Kelly, Muschamp, etc.
Ferentz has plenty of faults. But he’s also had some success. And he seems to do so with some grace.
The list of coaches I could like seeing in black and gold as much as I do KF, is a short one (maybe Bob Stoops, maybe Joe Paterno 30 years ago, and I used to like Mark Richt.)

ya, we should lose by 13 then
it is hard to watch the hawks play against teams that are not playing competitively against everyone else…
Well, that about does it.
After listening to Mr. Fringe Bowl Team blast his squad for an hour, I’m pretty sure that the Hawks are going to lose this game…or at least keep it close.
WTF...I think SBNation hiccupped my post.
What I meant to say was, after listening to Mr. FBT bash his team for about an hour, I’m pretty sure they’ll beat the Hawks…or at least make things interesting.
I'm confused.
Are the Hawks going to lose or are the going to be beaten?

Okay, I get your post now Mexican't.
Strange – I was seeing a double-post of my original subject line without the body of the comment at first, but apparently these were removed and the original content of my first message was restored. SBNation must be having some update issues – or I’m taking crazy pills.
Back to lurking now, no further comments from me – clearly I can’t handle it.
Coworker that didn't know I was on SBN described BSD as "an ultra pessimistic Penn State blog" leading up to the Iowa game a few weeks ago.
He hadn’t even named the blog yet and I knew he was about to tell me all about BSD.
