The latest set of NCAA rule changes came out, and they are now going to allow $2000 in payments to athletes above and beyond room and board and books. They're calling it "aid" but it sure sounds like a couple grand for walking around money. The multiple year schollies are a new twist too. Will people go someplace that offers them a four year ride up front vs somebody only offering a traditional one year deal? I'm looking forward to how this plays out, and really hope I hear soon about how Ferentz only offers four year deals.
