We have a Top-3 guy at 5 weights, and two more Top-10 guys to boot (out of 10 weignts), and we’re only #2-ranked as a team. That speaks to a very small group of competitive schools.

 are not worth the toilet paper they are written on. Last year’s preseason rankings had freshman David Taylor at #9 or #10 at 149. This year they have Dylan Carew at #18? If Carew wrestles anywhere close to his potential then he AA’s in March. They also have Raising listed at #8 behind Tony Nelson (#4) of Minnesota whom Raising destroyed in the Big Ten finals and he is 3 spots behind Wade of ISU. If Raising can turn up the offense consistently this season I can see him finish in the top 4. Finally, the trio of Russell , Novachkov and Marion are about as evenly matched as can be and any one of those guys could be the national champ. My money is on Montell.
