And I think that the SEC has proved to not only me but everybody else that they have the strongest football-playing conference. But you know what? The ACC has proved that in basketball, and we’re not going to stop playing either of them.

This comes from Adam Rittenberg's interview with Jim Delany earlier today. I certainly hope this doesn't mean he's throwing in the towel.

That's grounds for getting him fired.
He doesn’t have faith in the conference he runs? For shame.
In heaven there is no beer. This isn't heaven, it's Iowa.
While I am basically a Delany-hater right now...
I can’t fully disagree with his comment right now. Many of their teams are ranked in the top 15.
Yet, their mid-tier teams have had some losses (Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina have all lost). Kentucky, Auburn, and LSU still have to play. There is still plenty of time for the SEC to crap the bed.
I've sentenced boys younger than you to the gas chamber. Didn't want to do it. I felt I owed it to them.
