Say what you will about the tenure of one Frank Todd Lauterbur Lickliter, but he did one thing alright: defended the home court against the Armani Mafia.  Iowa went 3-0 against jNW at Carver during Lickliter's tenure; if you want to relive a few of those triumphs, our friends at Sippin' on Purple are happy to oblige.  jNW rolls into CHA off their first Big Ten win, a 93-81 (!) victory over Indiana on Sunday.  They're still dreaming of making that first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament* and if they want to do that they can ill afford a loss to a team like Iowa.  We were too busy with the yuks and the NFL will-they-or-won't-they news to do any sort of preview, but once again our friends at SOP are there to help.  

Game's on BTN at 7:30pm CST.  The usual rules of open threading apply: no porn, no piracy, no slurs, and so on.  Don't be a dumbass.  Otherwise, game on -- let's win one for Pelican Whore.

* They've never been to the NCAA Tournament and haven't won a bowl game since 1949 -- and they wonder why we refuse to stop calling them "just Northwestern."
