Arizona on Espn
I watched Arizona on ESPN last night against Toledo and I was pretty impressed. Foles is a big strong QB who is accurate as hell if he is given time and his receiving corp is pretty tough. Grigsby demonstrated all PAC 10 skills and will give us fits with his cut back ability. Defensively, AZ has a number of new faces but they looked pretty solid, we are going to have our hands full going out west and playing on their home field. We are going to need a constant pass rush on Foles and we are going to need to keep Grigsby contained if we want any chance of leaving AZ with a win.
AZ looked like a well coached team, not perfect but plenty of talent and Foles looked like an NFL prospect. We need Prater healthy and our D-Line to show up big time. Go Hawks!!!!!!

I was impressed too. It's hard to say what kind of D they have from a game against a crap opponent.
Hopefully our DL can completely dominate the game. Constant pressure, without having to blitz, will defeat pretty much any passing offense.
Should be fun.
with The Citadel next week ...
they will go into the game with us without having seen one future NFL player on defense. Granted we will not be facing a powerhouse in ISU next week but they will definitely be here to play so we should have at least one intense game under our belts before hitting the road. I think this only helps us in the beginning of the game as we try to feel out the new surroundings.
If the D-line decides to make a statement I think we should be in good shape. Go Hawks!
Are you kidding?
Until Stoops pulled his head out of his ass in the 2nd half it was a close game. After Foles dominated he sits him for the dual threat guy and they sucked. Grigsby? Did you watch us contain him last year? After watching this game I thought AZ had a lazy D, who didn’t cover assignments very well and an offense that relied totally on the immense talent advantage that they possessed over Toledo. If we can handle the time difference we will smash these guys.
