Received an email today with some interesting info...keep in mind...call a cab!
The ICPD made the UI aware of the DUI Checkpoints it will have setup for the
2010 season in accordance with their effort to crackdown on tailgating. Here
is the list so far:
1. Park Road – they will be randomly pulling cars into the Hancher Parking
Lot
2. Burlington St – at the Power Plant just over the bridge heading east
3. Melrose Ave – University Club parking lot
From what I was told this information has not been released to the press. So
if you are a season ticket holder or know a season ticket holder, plan on
attending games or tailgating, these are the places to avoid on your trip
home. The e-mail I received said that they were not sure if it would be at
all games so be on the lookout.
