Tailgating Agenda: Week 1

For those of you actually tailgating in IC this weekend, bite me. I live 1500 miles away. Also, have fun, I wish I was there.

But since I'm not, we're doing our own thing here. Because it's a 9am kickoff local (AZ) time, it's all about the breakfast baby. Have an egg casserole being prepared by the fiancee. We'll have the bloody mary's out to help you wake up and shake off the hangover. And of course the mimosa's for the women (we're classy!). Oh who am I kidding, I'll have a couple of those as well.

The beer will be flowing once kickoff begins, as I tend to drink fast and hard during games. Not a good combination with hard liquor. Some homemade salsa, guac, and cheese dip will get us through halftime and the rest of the game.

Then, it's pooltime. Afterall, it will be noon in Phoenix with a high temp of 110. And the Hawks will have their first win of the season. Man I can't wait for gametime...

Next Week: Heading to the Sandbar for the Iowa State game, one of the best Iowa bars in the country.

For Iowa - UA game?

Never been to a game in Tucson, but will have an RV and 30-40 people at a tailgate there for Iowa game. I’ll have info up the week of that game if you (or anyone else) wants a place to tailgate.

Going to the Sandbar, eh? Is Crystal Ship going to be there? I heard they let 16 year olds drink.
Dead Milkmen, Bitchin’ Camaro anyone? anyone…?

"If I’m batting behind him (Heyward), I tell the umpire, ‘Will you please check that ball,’" Diaz said. "And he’d be like, ‘It didn’t hit the dirt.’ And I’d go, ‘It might be flat.’ He hits the ball so stinking hard."
