Hawkeye Nation ought to be/deserves to be proud. I saw the college football 'production' tonight firsthand. NOT what I could only imagine EasSPN displayed to our great country. Our evolution as a 'program' is on track. Without casting dispersions or chastising the fans who supported their home team(but still could not fill all their seats for the first match up of ranked opponents Tucson since 1998...)Those fans were uber jacked to beat Iowa with the final plays sacking Stanzi. Sealing the game defensively was gravy for those desert dwellers - they had tons of respect for our D

Kinnick Stadium and the way a college football game is produced/supported trumps the siutcase environment I witnessed.

sure people will ask: suitcase??? A win is a win, you silly potato/corn farmer whoever you are!

did the best team win in Tucson??? I don't think so. But the Hawks didn't deserve to win - tons of mistakes... Way too many especially early on.

pardon me for lack of tangible points to support my assertion that hawkeye nation should not hang thier heads with this defeat... Cold hard facts is NOT the puprose of tbs post. Rather, I am encouraging our die hard to continue forward, look at the positives and represent our program to all who witness as a 1st class legit contender for the nations best college football team.
