I was perusing ESPN.com the other day checking out Iowa’s schedule when I noticed on the side a video of the 3 weakest schedules of the top ten teams. Strangely enough, Iowa was on there as the third weakest. BSU and TCU rounded out the bottom. Then when I went to Ohio State’s schedule, I noticed a new video of the 3 hardest schedules of the top ten teams. I believe it was Alabama, Florida, and Ohio State. Obviously Alabama and Florida have similar schedules so I kind of expected them to be together (all the ESS EEE CEE SPEEED!!!). Iowa and Ohio State have similar schedules, but somehow Iowa’s is easier… Hmmm… Iowa has 3 ranked teams in a row plus Michigan State and then a time-out with Indiana, then jNWU then Ohio State. Side notes here: Iowa does not play Illinois and Purdue, possibly the two worst teams in the Big Twelven. Whereas Ohio State has played Miami, Iowa vs Arizona is somewhat equivalent to this game, 3 cupcakes then Wisky. Then two more cupcakes (with last years Purdue vs Ohio State outcome, is this the start of a new trend like jNWU vs Iowa?) and closing out the season with 3 currently ranked Big Twelven teams; Penn State, Iowa, and Michigan. Ohio State does not play jNWU and Michigan State. I’m sorry but how in the heck is Ohio State’s schedule harder than Iowa’s?!?!?
