As we all know, Virginia Tech was embarrassed this weekend, losing 21-16 to D1-AA/FCS James Madison University.  Virginia Tech, ranked in the top 10 in both polls to start the season, gets beat in close games against James Mad and Boise State, and the pundits on TWWL start talking about the transitive properties, that the loss to JMU somehow proves that, hey waitaminnit, maybe BSU isn't that great.

I was kind of enjoying the punditry and lunacy of it all until I saw something horrifying this AM, skimming over the writers' poll.
