Three months from the Hawkeye tip-off, Coach McCaff says that all the pieces for the 2010-2011 campaign are in place. Per Scott Dochterman's blog, don't expect any new players for the coming season and don't expect any verbals before the end of September at the earliest. The lineup looks to be Payne and Gattens at 1 & 2 with May Brommer and Cole filling 3 through 5. The new attitude is reminiscent of Dr. Tom's days - " don't settle for jump shots; drive the ball to the basket and get to the free-throw line." One can only hope.
