Don't believe it? Well, Nittany Whiteout did a study and proved it. But most of you probably believe it anyway. All those years Iowa seemed to stay out of the top 10 until the final poll, when it was finally obvious the Hawkeyes are were worthy of a high ranking. The Hawkeyes exceeded preseason expectations 5 TIMES in the last decade. That's a lot. More than Penn State, who did the study in the first place, to prove that they are just whiners. The Hawks are the #1 most underrated team in a BCS conference, while Boise State and Utah are just ahead of them in all of the FBS. Which is still pretty impressive. The AP only gets us wrong less than Boise and Utah. Way to go.
