Does anybody know how Chip Brown has become the voice of the BigXII media? The guy is everywhere, stating with certainty everything that will happen. Granted, by everywhere I mean ESPNNews and cited in newspapers. He writes a sports blog and is being referred to as "having done extensive reporting on BigXII realignment lately." So is this just a guy who happened to start a blog that became big, or is he a respected journalist who started a blog? When did sports reporting go to bloggers instead of journalists?
