Got to love colts 2nd rondr LB Pat angerer.in indy radio interview whn asked about contract:said he "would play coors light and flannels"
From Angerer's agent Jack Bechta. Or, translated: "Got to love Indianapolis Colts second-rounder linebacker Pat Angerer. In an Indianapolis radio interview, when asked about his rookie contract, Angerer said he "would play for Coors Light and flannels."
Dear NFL agents: next time you want to communicate like this, just use two tweets. It won't kill you.

The first Angerer quote of the NFL era!
God, I hope the Indianapolis media has an equivalent to Marc Morehouse, who will realize how hilarious Pat is, and get quotes from him at every possible opportunity.
I think the first Angerer quote
was in his initial interview when he said the draft was boring so he didn’t watch it. This one is better though.

Pat - your a second round NFL draftee!
You can upgrade to Hanes Beefy Tees and Sam Adams Noble Pils (I hear it’s good).
Obviously Indy appreciates what type of player PA is: no bullshit, love the game, work hard and level the guy with the ball when able. Now he gets to do that on Sunday instead of Saturday.

Noble pils is the best Sam Adams beer I've ever had
and it will be a shame when it is gone.
On the other hand, we will appreciate it more while it’s here.
Also, if we’re lucky, Sam’s Club will do their usual GOOSE ISLAND summer pub selection special and that will ease the pain: about $24 per case, freshly brewed, well-kept, it’s one of my annual summer highlights. You get Honker’s Ale, IPA, 312 Wheat, and their version of Kolsch. Incredible stuff.

Or he's jonesying for a Coors Light and Abercomrbie and Fitch endorsement deal
He may be a lot smarter than we realize ;)

I thought he was planning on playing against coors and flannel.
It’d be a pretty one sided fight.
It never gets to be easy

With sort of apologies to BSD, whose commenters disapprove of the word I’m about to use, Twitter is retarded. I don’t think Angerererer approved his agent’s use of the service for his message.
Twitter may not have any real value.
But it’s at least mildly entertaining for those that find themself spending too much time on the internet.

Funny yes...but what kind of an agent is he?
First rule of negotiation: Don’t tell the other guy how little you’ll work for. We can only hope the guy is better behind the scenes.

maybe he meant 3 million dollars worth of Coors and Flannel over 4 years?

I would like to hire you as my agent!

You need to stick this quote on Stampede Blue
It’s the perfect introduction to what will be years worth of awsome quotes. And we all wondered what we would do without Brock and his tweets….I think Angerer will more than fill that gap.

I would like a new agent
Nothing against 3 over 4 but if 2008 is any indication Pat left a lot of Coors light and flannel on the table.
