"[Amari Spievey's] passions in life are his family, his newborn baby, and football. He doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink — and when I say doesn’t drink, he doesn’t even have a beer. He doesn’t go out at night, he’s not into the social scene at all. Whoever drafts him is getting a dedicated player, a guy who works on football, and that’s it. You’re not going to have any off-the-field issues with this guy. If he goes out, it’s for dinner. He doesn’t get into any of that extracurricular activity off the field."
Agent Nate Haber, speaking to the Middletown Press about Spievey. Amari Spievey is awesome, and he has nothing in common with the BHGP editorial staff. He would probably hate all of us, and we would not be able to blame him.

This is awesome to hear
it will be one less guy in the NFL you have to worry about getting in any kind of trouble.

Great ambassador for the Hawks
It's not that I'm lazy, Bob, it's that I just don't care
so sad he didn't fall to Indy in the 3rd.
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.
Just how deeply can your senses be wrong? With some VR goggles, a camera and a touch on the back researchers were able to overcome a person's sense of being inside their own body.

But what were the chances of getting back-to-back Hawkeyes
With Caldwell and Moore also being Hawkeyes it might have looked like favoritism. But man – that would have been AWSOME had it happened.

Chances are probably not good
But the Colts did take CB in the 3rd, and how would they not have Spievey rated higher than Kevin Thomas? I mean Spievey played in essentially the same system the Colts run as well.

Yeah - it would have been sweet
Even if it did seem a little cheesy on the surface. But in reality, a lot of people had Spievey going to the Colts because of the similarity of system between the Hawkeyes and the Colts, his skill at the position, and his charecter.

I seem to remember when the Cardinals drafted Leinert they drafted a USC lineman in the 2nd
That could be wrong though. If that is correct, that could be sad that I even remember it, but just figured it probably happens on occasion.

Hell, I hate myself, and was just a mere high school athlete.

Call me crazy,
but I remember this exact same quote being said about Pat Angerer a few days ago. Do they have the same agent?

So you really are crazy then
It's not that I'm lazy, Bob, it's that I just don't care
Wait, he doesn't even have a beer?
And to think I cheered for this man…
Less memorable than Sam Okey's Hawkeye career.
"A guy that works on football, and that's it"
Obviously from the new little Spievey this isn’t 100% true.
I, for one, can’t blame the guy.
