But this stuff like this is why I read BHGP. People can actually talk and discuss (whether it be on-topic or not) without getting into the inevitable cock fight that happens on just about every other message board/blog/anything-to-with-sports-website.
I have a feeling the mods find it irritating

While the image of Coug on the break is pretty funny
I think the idea that he can’t work in McCaffery’s system is a little overblown. Generally you don’t have all five dudes sprinting down the court on a fast break. He can rebound, outlet pass (which he’s good at!) and then either lumber down and set up in the half court if the break doesn’t work or trail and set up for a three.
No one is listening to you, nerd!
Really, it shouldn’t be assumed that anyone on the current roster “can’t” make it in a new system until proven otherwise. I guess that just further bums me out about this flood of transfers/decommittals.

Is there actually a possibility that he decides to train hard this summer?
I mean, he could conceivably shed a few, and learn to max out his skill set. Is he going to be our best player next year? No. But hopefully the Fran Plan for the Man from Sioux Land involves getting him in shape and using him effectively. The thing that appeals most to me and gives me hope after the recent deffectiongasm is Fran’s ability to coach to his players instead of forcing players into a prescribed system.

I just bought my one way ticket on the “We’re so fucked” train. So, anybody wanna talk about Ricky? He always makes me feel better about Iowa athletics, or maybe Metcalf eating the hearts of his opponents? Gotta be honest this is the first year I “followed” Iowa wrestling(cuz why would I follow basketball anymore?) and it was pretty entertaining. It does help that we’re a wrestling JUGGERNAUT.
