Dunno how gimpy Morningstar is.
I’ve heard that the TD Beatty lost on was a little suspect and that he basically initiated all the action in the match and the Okie State guy did nothing and never got nailed for stalling. But… at the same time, Beatty just needed to finish one of his shots and he would’ve won.

The folks who did it for the Cliff Keen Duals were from Cedar Falls, and got plugged about a gazillion times in their broadcast. Seems like that would have been a smart move in Omaha, since they are realtively close

the state just changed the law on beer percentage, but it won't be available til june ish
It all depends on if a distributor in state picks up Stone. Stone is big enough that I think there is a good chance most of the Stone portfolio will be available in a few months.
And now the local breweries can brew up to that %
It was always stupid that Iowa breweries couldn’t brew the maximum % that could be sold here
the state had a bad habit of not paying bills on time
read six months late… no beer maker wants to deal with that. now that the brewers can deal directly with an actual beer distributor, better beer will flow.

Check out the beer menu – now have four locations with only about 50% of beer that is the same in the 65 or so taps they have. If you can’t find something you like they have 200 in bottles.

Just a note about NWCA
The scoring they have is off. There’s no way to score that many points in the first two sessions (max. score per match is 3 with a fall). Ross has a breakdown of the scoring in the post.
Iowa finishes the night with 34 points. I’m pretty sure Okie St. finished with 26 from what I hear out of Omaha. Either way, it was a good day for us, 10 wrestlers still alive is a good sign.

Even though the points seem closer,
the correct scores are actually better for us. Notice how everybody in the top 10 is closer to Okie State than they are to us. An 8.5 point lead is much more dominating than it looks.
