So is Syracuse
The hot red head that is dressed really slutty but is probably just a dick tease.
Ankles! We don't need no stinking ankles!

I disagree.
Syracuse was really nice looking once, now she ugly, but you think deep down she still has something left.

I'm a Knicks fan and an NJ native
And I find this thoroughly confusing. Rutgers doesn’t care what the B10 does with it, yet everyone fawns over its yet to be unleashed potential, while Rutgers secretly laughs on the inside, but in a killing babies sort of way?
We are gonna shock them with 5,000 mega watts of raw ROO POWER.
hmm, I have a lot of Rutgers family members and friends
and they all want Rutgers to join the Big 10.
And I’m not talking just casual Rutgers fans, but season ticket holders even through the dark years decades history of the team (not that they’ve had season tickets quite that long, just pointing out how long their dark period was).
What cracks me up is these are the same people who were telling me that PSU joining the Big 10 was a terrible idea and the reason that we were so down (during our own dark period).

I'm quite certain
That Darko was thrilled when he was taken #2 in the draft.

I thought you were going for the angle
that both were likely to bring an element of organized crime into their new environments.
Less memorable than Sam Okey's Hawkeye career.
Well
Given that
Alvarez said they would be looking at an eastern team.
Missouri & Kansas have their appeal, but are also no big deal.
Texas will probably go to the PAC 10.
Syracuse has deep ties to the Big East.
ND can go fuck itself.
WELCOME TO THE BIG 10 SCARLET KNIGHTS!!
In 100 years, we'll all be dead.
Without rehashing too much of FtT's blogs,
the general opinion seems to be that either Colorado or Missouri or both could leave the Big XII in the very near future. Having lost schools that represent the second largest metro area (CU) and second largest state (Mizzou) in the league, the Big XII would have a difficult time finding the type of replacements to make the league a viably competitive entity moving forward against the increasingly rich Big 10, SEC and (in expansion scenarios) Pac 10. The thought is that Texas, seeing the writing on the wall, would recognize their unrivaled attractiveness and make a preemptive move, be it to the Big 10, Pac 10, SEC (not likely) or as an independent.
Less memorable than Sam Okey's Hawkeye career.

Speaking of Darko
How crazy is it that the Timberwolves traded for him yesterday, and yet still somehow unquestionably won the trade?
As A Wolves Fan
I saw this trade and immediately thought to myself “Wow – the Timberwolves are so bad that they traded for a guy I didn’t even realize still played in the NBA, and somehow this actually managed to improve the team.”

As someone who attends Wolves games on occasion...
I wouldn’t go that far. Cardinal sucked, but I still rather have him than Darko. He at least seemed like a good teammate, whereas I’m betting Darko will spend much of the time sulking on the bench (i.e., what he’s done in the NBA for the last seven years). Waiting for Darko to “come around” is an absolute pipe dream and he’s going to be back in Europe by summer.
"I want to be a cowboy. I don't want to be a panda. Pandas are boring, stupid and boring. Bad panda!"
Darko is actually a decent defensive player
Which separates him from literally every other post player on the ’Wolves roster.
Brian Cardinal, on the other hand, is terrible at everything.
Au contraire, mon frere!
Cardinal isn’t terrible at getting paid.
I’m a huge Purdue fan, and I’m still baffled at the contract he got. It’s been a great story, but…well, when he left Purdue, I thought it’d be a crazy world if he got a 7 digit contract in the NBA one day. He got 8.
Also opposing big ten fans always seemed to say he was a heckuvan actor.

Outstainding, sir

Good God, will SBN be incorporating spellcheck features soon?

Doubt it.
The bigger question here is, Who are you out staining?

I don't know...
…October Sky was okay, but Rutgers will probably turn out more like Moonlight Mile (which is pretty depressing). Clearly Darko was Gyllenhaal’s best movie…
What? Darko Milicic?
Well why would we let a genocidal dictator from a former Soviet satellite into the Big Ten?
(Hold on, I’m gonna go Google this Milicic guy.)
