Very well put.

I believe he took that quote from Winston Churchill.

Don't get me wrong

I love Tom Brands and think that everything he does with the program is excellent, but the transcripts of him talking are really hard to follow.
INTENSE is the perfect word to describe him.

Ah, wrestling coaches.

It’s either shitting yourself or being a man. There’s no in between.

Hold on.

Is Geogre Brett not a man?

Yeah, they got rid of the video.

It’s just George Brett stretching at Royals camp and telling the story to a teammate like they were talking about vacation photos or something. It’s pretty great.

Or it's just another day at the office if you're Tim Sylvia.

While reading Deadspin today...

I ran into this article:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=5651802

…which almost makes pooping your pants seem like the ultimate “sports toughness” act.

I, for one, am happy that I never gave so much of myself to any sporting event that I soiled myself.

I've sentenced boys younger than you to the gas chamber. Didn't want to do it. I felt I owed it to them.

Wow

I love it. I try to convince myself that it’s the civilized Hawkeye sports conversations that are the reason I love BHGP so much…but let’s be honest…it’s the poop jokes. That’s the reason I come back here so much (this sentence only exists to separate the poop jokes from the dick jokes as much as possible…shit). And the dick jokes.

I think Tom would agree

that pants poopage is more a mental thing than an age thing. There are older guys who poop their pants and there are younger guys who don’t poop and then there are guys whose faith keeps them from pooping but they can’t stand still, they have to keep progressing or there will be poopy pants.

It's funny because it's true.

I spent half my life's earnings on wine, women & song. The other half I wasted.

During the entire interview, Brands was like...

…. with all due respect, you are a dumb-ass reporter who clearly hasn’t done his homework; but don’t take that disrespectfully you stupid fucker.
