SI's "truth and rumors" section is notoriously unreliable and, to be sure, the Fulmer quote from the Knoxville Sentinel doesn't seem to say a whole lot. Still, just the idea of Philip Fulmer coaching in Minneapolis would be amazing for the promise of minor infractions by Hawkeyes being forever pushed to into the background due to the presence of the Fulmer Cup's namesake coaching in the same league.
