For all Marines past and present, I take great pleasure in congratulating you on 235 years of exemplary service, outstanding performance, and selfless sacrifice to our great Nation. Your unquestionable devotion to duty reflects greatly on your unwavering courage, moral fortitude, and relentless pursuit to locate, close with, and destroy the enemy. In your service, you have upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.
