Ricky gets some Heisman love

Don't look now, but at least one high profile sports website is taking notice of Stanzi's efficiency this year. I don't think he's even the most outstanding player on his own team, but his numbers show that he deserves to be in the discussion.

I really hope

we let Ricky go crazy on Saturday. How awesome would it be to see Rick walk away from Bloomington with 400+ yards passing and 3 or 4 touchdowns? Probably won’t happen, but it would be fun.

There are only two scenarios in which that could happen

1) He gets all of those yards by midway through the 3rd quarter (assuming those yards lead to a lot of points and Iowa is way up, he will either be taken out of the game or we will resort to running the ball like we did against Sparty)

2) The Iowa defense decides not to show up and allows 30+ points to Indiana keeping them in the game, forcing Iowa to have to throw deep into the game.

Scenario 1 is more likely, but either way, I simply don’t see it happening. 3 or 4 TD’s, sure – but not 400 yards to go along with them.
