My wife and I are going to the game tomorrow.  A friend has supplied tickets.  He might try to refuse payment, but I will insist on paying him.  I just don't know what they sell for these days.  What's fair value?

Apparently, I need 75 words to make a post...  So this'll be the first game I've been to in a number of years.  Game days are the busiest days for our little business, so I'm usually listening on the radio.   The good news is that the Hawkeyes are undefeated while I am in attendance, including the game I saw in Champaign (where I went to college).  

It must have been 1992...  The Hawks were clobbering the Illini, my buddy Paul and I were celebrating the whole game, totally pissing off the Illini fans around us.  Late in the second half, the Illini must have scored a TD.  An older lady (I would almost call her elderly) who was sitting in front of us... turned around...put her two fingers up in a "V"... and repeatedly thrust her tongue through the "V".

We were a bit shaken, and kept our celebrations to a minimum, out of fear.
