Reading MGoBlog's review of the Michigan/Iowa game (again, I live in A2) I think I see how they contained Clayborn. Here are a few clips that seem to show the UM tackle just-ever-so-slightly jumping the count.
The UM tackle (Taylor Lewan) gets called offsides on this play:
There's no call on this one but it looks like he jumps again:
Am I imagining this? I mean, I know 2 plays aren't statistically significant (N=too low) but, come to think of it, that is what I would do if I were Rich Rod.
