Templeton Rye, batch 4 is going to be released soon. As we all know, there are many fans of the Good Stuff on this site, but for those of you who aren't on their mailing list, there is very important information.
But first. Why aren't you on their mailing list? Seriously.
Anyway....
We are getting very excited about Batch 4 of Templeton Rye, which will be released on the anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition on December 5th. Our plan is to send 2,000 cases to Iowa so that retailers can order it from the state warehouse beginning December 6th. We will also be sending 1,000 cases to Illinois at that time. It is still not going to be easy to find a bottle of The Good Stuff, but is should be a lot easier than it is today.
This is good. Very good. Binnys will finally be getting more, for those of you in Chicago. Iowa folks, go crazy. You can even, apparently, buy it online from Binnys (if your state allows shipping. If not, sucks to be you).
However, this is the best infomercial that you're going to see today. Here's your "but wait, there's more!" moment:
Templeton Rye team heading out on statewide tour
Templeton Rye Founders Scott Bush and Keith Kerkhoff, along with the rest of the team, will be heading all over the State of Iowa from December 11-18. We will be doing bottle signings as well as events at various bars and restaurants. Most important though, is to meet a bunch of Templeton Rye fans and thank you for your patience during the past year. Please stay tuned for specifics details.
A preliminary list of stops is below:
Des Moines
Grinnell
Newton
Ames
Mason City
Fort Dodge
Storm Lake
Sioux City
Council Bluffs
Denison
Carroll
Atlantic
Coralville
Cedar Rapids

That's right. They're coming to you (if you live in Iowa). I expect to see FOTP shirts in pictures at both IC and Coralville stops. Just awesomeness.
And if you're truly local to them, you can have a hand in helping them bottle the batch, see the website for details.
Excited yet? There's a game on Saturday, and knowing that I can replenish my stock, It may be time to dip into it a little more liberally.
