BLACK HEART GOLD PODCAST #19: DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE BLOG IS COOKIN'?

In the wake of Iowa's victory at the National Duals in Cedar Falls, this week's podcast gets its wrestle on.  Andy Hamilton, who covers Iowa football and wrestling for the Iowa City Press-Citizen, joins us to examine this weekend's dual with Oklahoma State, the remainder of the Big Ten season, and the paranormal effects of Borschel's moustache.  No stun guns were used in this podcast, as The Mountie did not appear.

Even if you're not a big wrestling person...

I implore you to listen to the theme music for this podcast. It is awesome.

Yes

I loved the theme music Ross. Andy is great person to have on to talk about wrestling, the insight that both of you had made this great to listen to today at lunch.

They took the bar, the whole fucking bar!

HS deserves the credit for the theme music, as always.

And, yeah, Andy was a great guest — definitely very, very knowledgeable about the Iowa program and college wrestling in general.

I see that now

It’s been a long day at work, listening to the wrestling talk was my escape for the day.

My hat’s off to HS for the musical awesomeness.

They took the bar, the whole fucking bar!

Did anyone else take serious satisfaction from the W over Boise St.?

Maybe I’m still bitter about those OBNUG pricks, but the fact that they only care about their football program makes it difficult to gloat.

there were jokes on the Twitter.

You need the Twitter.

Before you respond, let me remind you: Brian Cook called me smug, which makes me the Obama of smugness. I'm basically Smugbama.
