Bulaga status
Well, this is just fucking great:

Not that ESPN is always right, but Rittenberg typically is pretty careful. After last week's clusterfuck line play, let's move someone into the left tackle spot so Stanzi can't roll anywhere to save his life. Hope they can run about 10x better - Robinson - get a lead and lower my blood pressure so my eyeballs don't bleed.

A relief.
I hope he’s right that it’s not the life-threatening illness that is being screamed about on other boards. That would have been quite a roller-coaster ride for the kid.
Can Dace or Reiff get the job done on Saturday? If it’s true that Bulaga has missed most of the practices this week, then the staff has had time to figure out a plan.

I'd imagine
Calloway moves to LT, w/ Dace back at RT.
Hopefully Gettis plays closer to the level that he played in the second half.
On another note, does KF’s statement “We expect Bryan to return to his normal activities soon.” seem slightly vague? That is he didn’t say return to the team or football activities. Hopefully, I am just reading into it.

I thought that, too.
And stuck my fingers in my ears and said “Nah-nah-nah” because I don’t want to think about it.

The rumored starting line-up I've seen
from one of the admins at HR is:
LT – Riley Reiff
LG – Gettis/Vandervelde
C – Eubanks
RG – Richardson
RT – Calloway
Which would be interesting.

Sort of like some of the girls I brought home were “healthy”

Heart Ailment?
This seems to be the worst case that i’ve heard. If true he’s definitely done for the year if not longer. Really hope for the kid’s sake it’s something as simple as the flu.
Be the Bulaga, Brian.

For Bulaga's sake, I hope it's no heart ailment
That would be tragic.
I’m hoping for a quick bout of swine flu or something. Bulagapocalyptic for one week, but then back to the status quo.

Schools throughout U.S. are freaking about flu right now
Most universities have been notified by the CDC to treat all flu viruses as though they could be the H1N2 or whatever of the swine flu virus. Oh, and this is pig country too. So there you go…it is hopefully just that.

Just talked to a friend that has a daughter at Vanderbilt. They’re about ready to close school. College campuses are getting overrun with the swine version. But Norsehawk is right, if he had the flu he wouldn’t be traveling, unless he was something like 4+ days over it.

As crazy as that sounds
that’s not the first time I’ve read that today, and might explain why Kirk was so vague in his statement.
Then again, I’ve never had a kidney stone, but I can’t imagine that it’s a pleasant experience. Is a kidney stone something that typically requires an overnight stay in a hospital?

If it's small enough that it can pass on it's own, no
It does fucking suck though.

I also read thyroid....
see, now we are doing the “Anthony Tucker”…these ambiguous explanations for player disappearances are really not Iowa’s thing. Or so I thought.
