Jacody Coleman transferring out.

According to Marc Morehouse, Jacody Coleman is going to transfer from Iowa to someplace closer to his home in Texas.

Also, in case you are in Osama's cave, Steve McNair is dead of a gunshot wound.  He and some woman were found dead.  ESPN news has floated the possibilities of murder, or murder-suicide.

Finally, Joey Chestnut wins his 3rd mustard belt by eating 68 hotdogs at Nathan's contest at Coney Island, NY.  68 is a new record, better than Chestnut's 59 last year.

Tomorrow, Chestnut competes in the Tums 400, throwing down rolls of antacid to deal with the consequences of today's sillyness.  (I made this last sentence up.)

Let's hope the Jewel Hampton news is more rumor than fact.

Some Register writer said the same rumor, though. I see Morehouse is giving a roundabout blog post about how we all need to “get to know about the other RBs.”

The Gazette and the Press-Citizen do not have official stories right now. Allegedly, most of the info is coming from message boards on other Hawkeye fansites (you know, the ones that charge you money to read crappy interviews).

And just to show that anyone on a message board can make anything up, I’ll let you know that BEARS HAVE TAKEN OVER WATERLOO, AND ARE SETTING RANDOM BUILDINGS ON FIRE WITH FLAMETHROWERS! HELP ME J LEMAN, YOU’RE OUR ONLY HOPE!!!

Hey man, not cool

I called some sources in Waterloo, and they said there weren’t any bears. What’s up with that? I give your post an F MINUS MINUS.

Sorry.

I’m just that way. When I watch the local news at night, I want to know about pressing issues, not someone adopting a dog, or someone mowing their neighbor’s lawn.

But, in the interests of fairness and equal time, I’ll give you some good news:

This is the guy I am aspiring to be, so get used to my sarcasm about bad news.

@ Chrysler Kinnick

If you think I am too sarcastic or dark in my humor, you need to read the comments on the Steve McNair death story posts on deadspin.com

The jokes they were making about that lady made me laugh a lot, but I would never post something like what those people are. Well, maybe I would, but I would do so with a frown-ey face : (
