Stupid Cyclone Plates?
Is it me or are there just a few retarded Iowa State commerative plates out there. In my area I have compiled a short list of the top three retared ISU plates that I have seen. If you have seen more please reply with them. I would like to know if anyone else out there is seeing these retarded things.
3) CYZCREW- This one is so cliche. Using the Z for an S. That is so 1998. But then again it was on a big chevy pickup hauling around a guy with the standard issue 1998 goatee so I shouldn't expect better.
2) HLTNMGC- I can only assume that this means Hilton Magic. Now I can see having pride in your teams stadiums. Hell I love the UofI plate KINNICK. But that means more than just the stadium. Nile was a man amongst boys and commerating both him and the stadium is cool. To add insult to injury this plate is on a Dodge Neon. Spending the extra money to get the personalized plate costs more than the car itself. There has not been magic in Hilton Coliseium since Metallica was there in 1997 doing some of their pyrotechnics and cunning stunts.
The nerdiest gets #1:
1) JEDICY- Really. So a big red cardinal that represents a cyclone (I still don't get this one even though several ISU fans have attempted to explain it) is a practitioner of the Jedi dicipline. By the looks of it CY would have a hard time fighting it's way out of the special olympics. Hell I would put a fifty spot on any one of the competitiors at the S.O. that they would down right beat CY to a pulp. This plate just serves to tell me that it's owner is an ubernerd. It has been awhile since I have seen this plate but if memory serves me correctly this plate is also on a Dodge Neon. NUFF SAID.
These plates are all over this state and I am hoping that at some point every possible use of CY for those plates is used so that I can find yet more examples of stupidity.
Conversely if you have seen some cool UofI plates post those also. I am always interested in how creative my fellow Hawkeye brethern are with their plates.

Worst ISU plates ever.
Car covered in ISU stickers, plates read ALSO4NU. Which made me want to ram the car for obvious reasons but I fought off the impulse. When I am not hating the Clones, “Nebraska Fans” (always in quotes to me living in Omaha Metro but I won’t get into that) are a close 2nd.
And yes I have Iowa plates I got when I was literally drunk on the computer one night. I got my 5th choice (you pick 6) my first 4 were either taken or considered vulgar by the DMV so I ended up with CUNKNNK which almost nobody on this side of the state gets. About 5 times a week someone asks me what a Can-Unk-An-Unk is.

Would love it
If you would get into that re: “Nebraska Fans.”
Pretty please?

Also in the Omaha Metro
I have seen that one once or twice. The cornholers are a close second to the sucklones. Thanks for the post.

As an Iowa Western and UNO grad
Who lived in the metro area for 5 years or so, and an hour away for the rest of my life, I definitely have to concur with the Cornholers. ISU’s the only fans I dislike more…

I am torn between
whether I should feel sorry him, as only some horrific childhood could result in DB that huge, or if I should feel bad that you must associate with him.

Any combination or bastardization
of CY-CO or PSYCLONE. Because you need to be slightly mentally unbalanced to root for ISU/pay to gov’t to advertise that poor choice.

I saw one on my way to work last week that merely said, HOLLA. Now THAT is as creative as it gets.
