Kenny Iwebema has tumor removed

According to ESPN Kenny Iwebema had a baseball sized benign tumor removed from his chest on Monday.

The Tumor showed up in routine x-rays and now he won't be able to participate in offseason activities for the next six weeks or so. Doctors said if it would've been much bigger they would've had to crack his chest and no football for the season.

Yikes.

When I was attending the U of I, I had a football-sized 2 lb tumor.

Did I say tumor? I meant burrito.

Sadly, Pancheros no longer carries el gordo (or refried beans).

I concur.

Although, for a long time, they’d still make you an El Gordo, but you had to ask for it.

Clearly I need to check the fanposts more often

Good to see you beat me to the punch by SEVEN GODDAMN HOURS on posting about this, MP hawkfan.

Current tally

Posts about a former Hawkeye having a benign, but potentially harmful tumor removed consistent with the subject of the fanpost — 1

Posts about a no-longer on the menu two-pound burrito — 4

Sounds about right for BHGP. And I always liked Panchero’s too, so make it 5.

Also, hopefully Mr. Iwebema will fully recover quickly and have a solid NFL career (yes, I felt obligated to throw that in).

The ad for the tumor/burrito story for me is for a foreign film with some dude playing a viola with mountains in the background. I know it’s Friday and stupidity has sunk in but I don’t understand the connection. Homo-eroticism?

Not to trivialize Iwebema's condition

Hope he recovers and returns to the game.

I just like burritos. I mean… who doesn’t?

Thanks for that

We were all pretty sure you hoped Kenny Iwebema died.
