Insight on the Clayborn Situation
So Clayborn was named to the leadership committee. While it seems to me that this committee is mostly a PR thing, I am pretty surprised to see him on there given the pending action. If nothing else, it sure seems like KF has bought Clayborn's versions of the events. Even if he is convicted/pleads guilty, I can't see the suspension being much longer than Allen's a couple of years ago. Of course, it is entirely possible I have completely mis-judged this and his is looking at 4 or 5 games.

I hope you're correct.
However, I’m pretty sure the LC is voted by the players, so The Clayborn Situation might still turn out to be pretty shitty.

Every committee...
needs an enforcer. Clayborn was probably picked for his strong pimp hand of justice.

on the idea that the committee is mostly a PR thing...
I know for a fact it’s not. They play a big role in conveying how the team feels about things to the coaches. For example, after the Pitt game last year they complained about the play calling, the fact that they choose to hold Greene out even thou he was yelling at KOK to put him back in, and the biggest concern being why Stanzi didn’t get more snaps.
