last year I got only one pick right out of all the match ups.

and that was Iowa….. Yes I’m not even kidding. I missed every single other one.

by Argulor on Dec 7, 2009 10:59 PM CST reply actions

Damn.

I think that’s every bit as impressive as going 33-1 or whatever it would be… it’s just as hard to pick that many games wrong as it is to pick that many right.

is there a link to last year's results?

this place smells like feet. i’ll bring a can of lysol next week.

i'm looking for an epic

Jesus.

You truly thought the OBC was gonna beat us? Or was it just one of those “i can’t pick my team or i’ll jinx them” things?

It's fucking on!!!

I’m gonna do terribly – just a heads up.

by Bucketochicken on Dec 7, 2009 11:01 PM CST reply actions

Totally unrelated

MetalSucks has been weak lately, no?

by Smokin Herb Grigsby on Dec 7, 2009 11:04 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah, kinda.

The Robb Flynn interview was good, and the new Terrible Demo (or whatever) feature should be hilarious.

by Bucketochicken on Dec 7, 2009 11:06 PM CST up reply actions

Anything with Robb Flynn is generally golden

but I’m one more Rich Hallford post away from making it a bi-weekly at best visit.

for what its worth

We played Arizona before they were really all that good. If I remember right we played against 2 qb’s in that game as they were in the midst of figuring out who they wanted to start at that position… during the rest of the season they obviously got it figured out.

M. Scott was 4-14 vs Iowa for 50 yards. Nick Foles came in in an emergency roll and went 6-11 for 55 yards in what was only his 3rd college game since 2007. He started the next game and was the starter through out the rest of the season. He dismantled the PAC-10 defenses throwing for 2,500 yards with 19tds/8 interceptions. I’m just pointing out that the Arizona Iowa beat early in the year was not the same team that beat Stanford and had wins at Oregon St. and USC later in the year.

Stanford lost to Arizona so it only makes sence he’d want rank them up higher… and Wash St was crushed by Arizona by a score of 48-7. I don’t blame that coach for ranking the Wildcats that high either! lol

Either way I love my hawkeyes, but of all the teams we beat… (ie Penn State) being ranked above us…. The Wild Cats DEFINATELY deserved the billing.

I struggle sitting on my hands... don't you?

Here's hoping everyone picks around 75% right.

Agreed.

As long as I get 76% correct.

Well, if i can pick the bowl game as well as I did the season,

I’ll be somewhere around 24-6 in my picks.

I want to make my picks now!

While I am still totally uninformed. That always works better.

Suspension season is hard upon us (twss). Have to wait until right before getting underway to roll properly.

If I fail as bad at this as I did in fantasy football

I just might have to end my …

Forget that

I don’t care how bad I do. This is not about picking wins and losses. It’s about wasting time.

It never gets to be easy

by chitownhawkeye on Dec 8, 2009 10:19 PM CST up reply actions

Oh I will keep playing and setting up leagues

It is just amazing that I haven’t scored over any points this year.

My guessing sucks anyways. Never have big hopes on bowl or tourney pick’em.
