What we learned today
#1 - Never trust StoopsMyAss or Arizona bankers. Seriusly, has anyone seen what the housing market is like down there....
#2 - Always trust the caterer. If they say stay away from the shrimp, don't touch it. If they say Iowa is going to the Orange bowl, beat the rush and book your tickets.
#3 - The Fiesta bowl execs must be a little "slow". The outrage isn't just going to be coming from Texas and Idaho. I can't even imagine how pissed businesses in Glendale and Phoenix are right now. From a purely objective point of view, they seem to have gone with the best available draft strategy over drafting for need. Unfortunately, this is the real world and money talks. If the game is half full and a ratings snoozer like many are predicting, I would expect some heads to roll.
If tonights baffling selections don't call for a second edition of the SMA Bowl Exec soap opera, then I don't know what does. I am formaly requesting a follow-up. Get to it.

It should have been us Broncos and you Hawkeyes in the Fiesta.
Give us a Big 10 team! if your gonna match 2 non bcs teams together, why waste a bsc bowl? Both teams deserve more

I think it would have been a very good (and maybe great) game.
And I think TCU-Boise will be a good game. I just don’t understand the decision in any way, shape or form. Nobody really cares which Mid-Major undefeated is better. It’s not going to make money, and noone is going to be happy about it. We know they’ll play each other tough. I watched last year and I expect a similar game. That’s not the point. I wanted to see whether Boise and TCU were both legit teams against the best competition. Why not let an Iowa carry the ratings and the fans and let Boise or TCU bring a good football team and make a great game. I’m happy to be in a BCS bowl, just don’t really understand the decision making process.
Fuck tOSU
Ehh. Saw it last year.
Well, the highlight of the game on SportsCenter, anyway. Re-runs suck.

I called the banker
got his voicemail. Left him an earful. I’ll tell you what he says if, and when, he calls back. Here’s the kicker and didn’t mention this before….the trustee (his mole) is a Hawkeye. Maybe that explains it…wishful thinking.

Oh, one last thing
the Fiesta Bowl claims they have already sold out. Wonder how many of those tickets sold were purchased by Hawkeye fans.

They still have two tickets available
I just canceled my ticket order and got a refund from the Fiesta Bowl.
Nice...I wondered if they would refund.

How much must the university putting through
it’s 17,500 ticket cancellation suck for them.
