Adrian Clayborn is staying, per Adrian Clayborn.

@MarcMorehouse. Not terribly surprising, but good to know. And this serves as ample warning to the quarterbacks of the Big Ten to keep their buttholes greased. AC's coming in.

Your serious right?

This better not be one of those “Hey, let’s kick all the readers of BHGP in the balls” by posting some early Christmas present while just waiting to yank the rug out from under us. It is incredible, hopefully we can devote our energy into Spievey now.

Seriously, what isn't better with bacon?

I think the only thing that may change his mind

coule be something strange happening with regards to his pending trial.

Oh come on. Its more fun without the grease.

Although I have no personal experience with such things. Really really.

Can we please...

think of a better way to talk about Clayborn than referring to the damage he will do to the rectal cavaties and colons of opposing offensive players? He’s not Pierre Pierce.

Did Morehouse really warn

QB’s to keep their buttholes greased? Awesome

sorry I'm not down with the twitters

although still an awesome comment… I see that was a response to morehouse, carry on

Adrian's dog says . . .

Hopefully something entirely different than the dog voice that the Son of Sam was hearing.

The greased thingie, I was thinking it, I think.

I think the rest of the Big Ten should know...

That we keep Adrian penned up in the off season, fed a steady diet of wild animals dressed in various Big Ten uniforms.

We will let him out in September!

I thought that was Klug?

And Adrian was one of the keepers?

Hopefully this gives the other guys more reason to stay

If we can keep Spievey and Bulaga at Iowa for another year, we will be looking daaaaamn good next year. Here’s a link to AC getting interviewed today in regards to making his decision.

Clayborn was the one...

of the three that I thought might stay.

Agreed.

And also the hardest one for us to replace next year, if that makes any sense at all.

Y'know...

…with AC sticking around, ya gotta think Amari has a better chance of staying (not saying he will, but maybe a better chance), cause who wouldn’t want to play on potentially the best defense in the country (yeah, I’m a homer, but it’s not a huge stretch). His stock would rise exponentially, as well as his exposure. That D line being a year older, stronger, faster will put more pressure on opposing QBs, and with JBernstein (and the youngins that got a year of experience this season) on the other side… well, let’s just say that with less time to make a decision, and better players on the opposite side, I think Amari will be eating up passes all over the place (again, I’m a homer, but it’s not a big stretch). He could easily put up the numbers next year to show how good of a player he really is.

I am leaning towards Amari staying,

considering Donovan Warren has declared for the draft. In staying, that would make him quite possibly THE best CB in the Big XI.

You must be mistaken, because players can't declare until after their bowl game.

What’s that? Michigan didn’t make a bowl? Bwaaaaahahahahahahahaha!
Maybe Warren should have went to Central Michigan, at least he’d get to play in December.

Or Michigan St.

Considering Chris L. Rucker won’t be suiting up anytime soon. HEHEHEHEHEHE

Clayborn sticking around is really good news. However, “Jewel Hampton”, “Jeff Brinson”, other corner who’s name escapes me, et al. Spievey has to do what’s best for him and his family, presuming Stoops has been writing accurately, and good for him if he declares Jan 7.

Jordan Bernsteine (sp?)

I agree, he does need to do what’s best.

IMO, right now he would be a 3rd round pick. Right now he is projected as the 7th best CB in the junior class. I could see an late first round to early second round if he stays his senior year and the team puts on a show next year.

The rest is about Spievey.

THIS

is the real reason Amari might be back. Still think he goes, but I think the odds of him staying have improved because of Warren going.
