Cap One Bowl Dims Fiesta

So I'm guessing I won't be the only one keeping an eye on the internet on Sunday afternoon regarding the Hawks potential bowl location. The CRG's Marc Morehouse once again has the goods in his blog with news that the Cap One will announce its pairings at 2 p.m. on Sunday, a good five hours prior to the BCS selection show.

I suppose that means when I see JoePa is heading to Orlando, I can go ahead and book those tickets to Phoenix. Anybody else with me on this?

I've said it before

and I’ll say it again. I hate this. I hate the lower bowls finalizing their opponents before the BCS ones announce.
In this case, it works out fine for us, but in general, it’s not fair for the fans. Both teams should find out at the same, not one while the other is stuck in limbo waiting to see if they’ll get moved up. Start at the top and move down

It never gets to be easy

Bowl talk

So the potential opponent at the Feista would be Boise State. What would the potential opponent be at the Cap One?

LSU is locked in there, it sounds like.

If we do wind up there and Warren Holloway isn’t an honorary captain for that game, there is no justice.

If it comes down to the last play of the game,

and it’s 3rd down, Pass to DJK. Otherwise, to McNutt. DJK always makes things happen on 3rd, even if he doesn’t catch the ball. It’s proven, just watch the highlights!

But it's so much more fun

to say McNutt in Yo Motherfucking Mouf.

"For me the game wasn’t grounded in reality. It was about the uniform you put on that turned you into a warrior. It was about the mythology of the battle, the victory, the defeat, the struggle." - Mike Reid, PSU '69
