Marc Morehouse Talks Basketball with Ferentz and Brands
"It was after a wrestling press conference and the conversation drifted. Brands, who’s seeking his third straight national title as Iowa’s head coach, pointed to the door to Lickliter’s office and said, 'That’s a good man.'"

I had never heard that before.
It wouldn’t really surprise me, though — personality-wise, Brands and Alford do seem like oil and water in a lot of ways. (Although their tenures also wouldn’t have overlapped that much — two years?)
Fucking Ferentz and "it's a process..."
Being a former Chicago Bulls fan and hearing Paxson whine about “it’s a process…” so many times and missing out on D’Antoni because of it, and just plain sucking in general… I almost threw up. I hope it means something different in Iowa.
In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).
Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.
It does.
