Hockey Player tries to Murder his own Goalie on Ice
Anyone see Keith Ballard slash Vokun's face off tonight?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAdyZFfFehc
Get it, "face off"?? haha. okay bad pun Jay Leno joke. but seriously...
Supposedly Vokun went balls deep in Ballard's wife over the holiday wknd and Keith was out for revenge. Florida police are investigating, with attempted murder charges pending.
In other news, Florida police are no longer interested in Tiger Woods' fender bender.
Something fishy going on down there in the orange groves. (pan in on Officer Barbrady deep in thought)

Ouch!
Best part of video, idiot swings again to break his stick on goal. He just clocked his goalie, and instead of checking him out he swings again to break his stick. Story says it shows he “cares about the game” in AJC. With that kind of caring he should sit on the bench.
From what I've read
Ballard was aiming for the crossbar out of frustration but hit the goalie instead.
Brunettes not fighter jets
Yeah..
I dont think thats an accurate characterization of the motive…
"I'm not doing any good back here."
well of course Ballard is going to say
that he was aiming for the crossbar. but my sources say there is much more to this than an innocent swipe.
this has made of TV movie written all over it.

There was no way he was aiming for the crossbar
The goalie was at the top of the crease, a good 3 feet in front of the goal. He also skated back to the goalie after blowing past on the play to take the swing.
Best sport ever

Sorry
I was trying to channel my inner Happy Gilmore with that one. I suppose that wouldn’t come across reading it very well.
