Congratulations
There are really two ways a person can look at today's game. The first is that the defenses played nearly flawlessly and that Iowa has better football players (and/or is better coached) on offense than Minnesota, and that was the difference. Being the delusional homer that I am, I choose to believe this. The other view would be that Iowa did their best Milton Berle impression and whipped out just enough to win. Either way, if you like defense it was a great game. I think the defenses did more than enough to frustrate the offenses and win the game.
Congratulations again,
WSR

Thank you
Although really, neither of us had anything to do with the game, its the kids that go out and play. Just keep posting, I really enjoy your comments :)

WSR...
you and ReadingRambler are the classiest non-Iowa fans on this site.
While I don’t want to give our offense any credit today, they did in fact do just enough. Both defenses played well, although I’m not sure I would classify either’s effort as “great,” especially considering there was no rain or snow, and just a bit of wind (5 to 10 mph pretty much all afternoon).
So, I think we saw two pretty feeble offenses, particularly after Adam Robinson went out with injury. I fear that Iowa and Minnesota may have both convinced Seantrel Henderson that USC is his choice.
We better figure out how to get some receivers and TEs open by the time we play our bowl game. McNutt had one catch today, and Moeaki and Reisner had none.
I've sentenced boys younger than you to the gas chamber. Didn't want to do it. I felt I owed it to them.

We had guys open all day
but JVB was preoccupied with the rush. Great game plan by Minny, if they played us stright up they would have had a hard time. JVB was also locked in on one receiver all day. He really regressed. There is no substitution for playing. This is where those painful losses with Stanzi last year helped his development.

Thanks WSR.
Like Chazz said, you’re welcome any time around here as far as I’m concerned. You’re a good shit.
Good luck in your bowl game.
Do we play you guys in basketball this year? We don’t, do we? Pretty sure we don’t. Right?
Fuck.

Can we trade PantherHawk for WSR?
Seriously, he brings so much more to the table. And Panther is an embarrassment to football fans everywhere, regardless of the team you root for.
I ate the blue ones ... they taste like burning.
I second this motion
Let’s bring it to a vote.
It's not that I'm lazy, Bob, it's that I just don't care
