I don't do facebook
Are people really emailing/facebooking this kid about his performance? Thats makes me fucking sick.
You know they are.
And not students. 20 and 30 somethings, otherwise like many of us here. Except they have no concept of proportion and are complete assholes. My sister in law texted me during the game that Stross was dead to her. But to harass the guy? It’s pathetic
It never gets to be easy

people who messaged him...
Need to read a quote from AJ Edds after the northwestern game, I can’t find it at the moment but it went something a little like this: we lost a football game, its not like this is war or something really horrible. We’ll live.
Totally classless to email a player, a senior, who’s given more to this program than any of us could even know.
Blech.
Keeping wildlife, an amphibious rodent, for uh, domestic, you know, within the city - that aint legal either, Dude.

Like to see them catch those balls
in the biggest game of the season against one of the best in the big ten in front of the most hostile crowd outside of Kinnick in the big ten. Unless they’re Braylon Edwards they can go fuck themselves

This came up on the post-game open thread.
Stross had a bad game on Saturday. But he still wears black and gold, he’s still a Hawkeye and he’s still made important contributions to this program throughout his career. Personally, I’m excited to cheer him on Saturday as he makes his last appearance at Kinnick and I hope the rest of the Iowa faithful are too.
