Many, many people have failed at tackling Dexter McCluster over the last couple years. He’s ridiculous. Houston Nutt should be fired for taking so long to realize that he should be lined up at RB and getting the ball regularly.
No, I know.
Kiffin’s brilliant and his defenses did a great job of shutting down a lot of other teams.

The one problem with Vandenberg after 5 quarters
Looks disturbingly good throwing when there are only linemen in the way, or on the rollout. But when he has to go over a safety or a linebacker in zone, his arm strength makes it tough to loft it into the seam. It happened repeatedly last week. It happened on the Moeaki pass. Otherwise, I’m pleased as punch.

2 straight up drops. 2 times when the guy shoulda held on.
Perhaps my best years are gone. When there was a chance of happiness. But I wouldn't want them back. Not with the fire in me now. No, I wouldn't want them back.

at least 4 -
2 by Stross, 2 by Moeaki.
by Bucketochicken on Nov 14, 2009 3:52 PM CST up reply actions
We need to stop the run....
and make Pryor beat us. I still think we are going to need 2 or 3 big plays from the D in order to turn this around.
this game is still very much about the D
we can’t possibly ask Vandenberg to do anymore than he is…
"I think it's safe to say our concerns are many." -- Kirk Ferentz
Amazing
I don’t think Desmond Howard expected that from Vandenberg
Sam Lickliter. Never forgive. Never forget. Beat IU.

Fucking Desmond Howard said this morning Iowa would lose by 21-28. Now there’s still a whole half, but fuck you Desmond Howard.
Oh
All I heard from him was something about Iowa’s D being worse than Purdue’s.
Sam Lickliter. Never forgive. Never forget. Beat IU.

i've been begging for a pick 6 all week...........
this place smells like feet. i’ll bring a can of lysol next week.
Horsecollar?
Apparently an arm around his waste doesn’t count.
Elephant walk?
I guess my first post didn’t sound quite right. He had him wrapped up, not just on the jersey.
We need to force a 3 and out on their first possession
regardless of if we score or not. Their O has a lot of momentum
Nothing good ever had "State" in its name.
we need a Mo Brown on the opening KO
this place smells like feet. i’ll bring a can of lysol next week.
Yes.
I’d like to see a 8-9 play scoring drive and then a 3 and out for them. That would be just grand to start off the second half.

I think not having Norm on the sidelines
is a bit of an issue in games like this…he needs access to these guys. I like that Ferentz told them GET OFF THE BLOCKS…they are letting Ohio State stay connected out of fear of Pryor running.
"I think it's safe to say our concerns are many." -- Kirk Ferentz
So Hunter is out now too. That's not part of the script.
Perhaps my best years are gone. When there was a chance of happiness. But I wouldn't want them back. Not with the fire in me now. No, I wouldn't want them back.
he is? shit
we are so freaking banged up. Who is his back-up?

be nice if we'd catch the ball
thanks Stross..nice work buddy.
BALLS OF STEEL RICKY! BALLS OF STEEL!!!!!!
those stross drops were awful
momentum killers.
"I think it's safe to say our concerns are many." -- Kirk Ferentz
the moeaki pass was a little high
but I expect more out of that dude. I’m really surprised we’re not hitting McNutt and DJK more. Vandenburg has been killer and his boys are letting him down.

Cotto
Pacquiao’s hype is all just from beatdowns of has-beens and never-weres.

Don't think Cotto will ever be the same after being battered by Margarito's cement hand wraps.

we could really use a touchdown...
I really think with Mandenberg if we can just get a TD then we’l be okay. IT’s like trying to break through.

That's not tonight, dog.
Tonight is Couture and Vera. Well, it’s right now actually, but it’s being broadcasted on Spike tonight on tape delay.
By the way, no spoilers about UFC please.

We have doenthe three things I thought were critical to start the game
ge V off to a good start. Check
be within 7 points at half. Check.
Not allow any huge plays. Check.

Yes.
Should be a good card. Not huge names but extremely competitive fights. Can’t wait to see if Bisping can recover from the beatdown by Hendo.

will we see any trickery by Iowa?
Ohio State? I think Tressel has something…he’ll try to use our discipline against us.
"I think it's safe to say our concerns are many." -- Kirk Ferentz
God I hope not.
No reason to even try the trickeration.

hide the reverse to McNutt play, get Stross to catch a pass, that'd be JUST F@CKING GREAT.
this place smells like feet. i’ll bring a can of lysol next week.
We might try play-action
but it won’t fool anyone since we can’t run the ball anyway.

I feel as good about Mandenburg back there as I felt about Stanzi during the past 2 penn state games.
