Post Game Thread

With apologies to OPS, I'm going to watch some of the later games so am starting an unauthorized open thread.  First, I'm not ashamed to admit I only watched parts of the 2nd half this afternoon.  At one time I texted a friend that I thought Iowa should have been down either 28 or 31, I couldn't remember which.  Holy balls was that game fucked up.  I think any other coach would have benched the Manzi after the 5th interception.  9-0.  What is most unbelievable to me is how they have gotten here.  In any event, I'm going to watch the PSUers bitchmake jNW.

I don’t feel like Georgia will even make it interesting. Waiting for PSU-jNW to start. Need to let my heart recover.

indiana @ iowa replay on ESPN360 now, if you want to re-live it all again.

Oregon had on some grayish/ green uniforms earlier this year…are you referring to those?

I remember reading somewhere that

there are more than 5,000 different permutations of Oregon’s uniforms. Needless to say, I don’t think we’ll see all of them this year.

The guy that owns

Nike, what’s-his-name, went to Oregon and donates Gazillions of dollars worth of Nike stuff upon the Ducks.

Yes...

Phil Knight.

Here is a semi-interesting tangent about that. Yesterday, I was talking to somebody who knows a guy that used to own a small chain of sporting goods/apparel stores, with at least one store in Minnesota. That guy moved to Eugene and bought a small golf course, and apparently, still ran one store at the course. The person I was talking to is 80 years old, but he claimed that this golf course guy did (at least partially) supply U of Oregon with clothes and sporting goods at one time.

I figure this must have been before Nike was started, or before Nike was going good. Because I assume that now you can not find anything with Oregon on it that does not also have the swoosh on it.

I've sentenced boys younger than you to the gas chamber. Didn't want to do it. I felt I owed it to them.

Which thread?

Oops Pow just put up a thread. This one isn’t on the frontpage. I’m so confused. We’re in like a double-secret thread.
