Yeah, I got up to take a piss at the half, and I muttered

“man, what a shitty half,” and then as I stepped into the bathroom I realized, “shit, we’re up by 6…” and holy fuck are we lucky. It should be 20-7 and one score away from facerape.

I think Kirk

was content to run out the clock but then Michigan called time out he said, wtf, let’s try and score some points. Delay of game was inexcusable, though.

I Like Our Offensive Potential

in this game. Despite the complete fuckups, their secondary is outclassed. If we can prevent more stanziballs, we can march the ball against this D, and then when they find themselves down 13 or 20, we’ve got them where we want them.

Because their O is all about spreading the field and exploiting speed, which is our weakness. If/when they make mistakes, we benefit. But if they don’t make mistakes, it’s the worst sort of offense for us to face.

Mistakes

-couldn’t punch it in from the 3 yard line
-pick 6
-missed FG after delay of game

That’s anywhere 10 points…..we should have won by 10+ against Ark St and we should have won this one by 12 or more. It’s frustrating and yet it shows we could be so much better. And what is better than 6-0?

Still, a minor point to a somewhat crazy game. I think the cold did indeed get to “open hand” Forcier, and DJK deserves next year’s Nobel Peace Prize for that great catch on that third and long. Cripes, what a game.

Hell, truth be told, I’m damn pleased no matter what: 30-28, scoreboard, Forcier for Heisman, turnovers and pick-six schmern-overs, just pass me another victory beer, bitches.
