Hawkeye Football • 1985 #2 Michigan vs #1 Iowa (via gavproductions)
It's ON. It's time for Michigan. Time to watch Clayborn & Co. pound Forcier into dust and Stanzi... well, let's just hope he keeps the STANZIBALLS under control. But it's Michigan - no one gets Kinnick rocking like the Wolverines. And there are few things sweeter than beating Michigan. So let's get it on.

I hit up the BHGP tailgate earlier this morning. Hawkeye State was huffing gas and Oops Pow Surprise was naked.
It. Was. Awesome.

Reisner might be a bit shaky tonight
Dinged a knee in practice. He’s warming up though, per Rob Howe @ HN.
Also, Reiff is working with the ones at left guard
Dace on the right.
Sounds like JV is experiencing the ramifications of playing like a dried dog turd last week.
DJK is warming with the Ones
Looks like Reisner is a go.
And Kuempel has switched numbers, to #90. More tackle elligible, maybe?
So, thinking about what we learned from WI-OSU...
OSU only had one offensive TD all game, right? The one Pryor threw right before halftime? Other than that, the Badger defense really seemed to do a pretty good job of slowing them down. They were just undone by a pair of pick-sixes and the KR TD.
Which makes me think that IF we can limit the STANZIBALLS in Colombus, we might have a decent shot at that game. Granted, I realize that’s the Empire State Building of ifs at this point, but still… slightly encouraging data, I think.
Slightly encouraging
But their D looks good enough to tempt the Manzi into a few Stanziballs

I've been saying we'd beat aOSU this year since like, April.
Nothing has happened to make me change that yet.
by Bucketochicken on Oct 10, 2009 6:58 PM CDT up reply actions
Yeah, that is the troubling thing.
Their defense looks totally fucking legit.
I think that game is going to remind us A LOT of 2003.
Yes, it's re-learning at this point.

Starting with Coors Light
and depending on how things are going, I may be hitting the Hennessey early.
The clan has weighed in
Down in ocean city, Maryland with the family. Dad (who sat in the rain and misery in happy valley weeks ago) suddenly says “you know, i always liked Iowa.”
“oh yeah?”
“yeah, who was their old coach?”
“hayden fry?”
“Hayden fry. Always liked him.”
So you have the old man on your side. Fuck Michigan.

We would be happy. We get the same turnovers, but from a Junior
I think their FS is an idiot
just put it up and let our guys fight for it….of course, we can’t block them.
